Sparkling Chai
Have you tried SoMo’s chai recipe from last week yet? You should. I didn’t have milk when I made my first batch so just went without and then chilled it in the fridge overnight. Inspiration struck the next day when I poured it over ice and topped it with a splash of sparkling water - the most refreshing afternoon treat!Ochota Barrel’s Spring Release is here! I grabbed a bottle of Texture Like Sun and Weird Berries in the Woods but I feel like I shoulda bought the gamay too (I have a problem). Snap it up before it sells out.
The Ritz’s Hitchcock Retrospective. Classic Hitchcock films showing every Wedneday and Sunday in an art deco cinema! I saw The Birds for the first time last weekend and am now flinching everytime a seagull flies past me. Running every week until late September.

Tangelos!!!! They're just the best citrus and are bang on season right now. So juicy, they really quench a thirst, and they sit at the ideal point between sour and sweet. I've never had a bad one.
Cairo Takeaway in Enmore is now selling their raw falafel mix to make at home! You can freeze it too.
This honey-soy chicken recipe from Patti Andrews (@pizza_night) is making me pine for the year 2000. In a good way.
