It's our Season Finale!
Buckle up, bandits, it's the season finale of Highly Enthused! Where on earth did the time go? We're dipping back into some golden oldies this week in terms of TV, Books and Nail Tech, but we're also testing new ways to spice up omelettes and we're thinking a lot about ambition and what that word even means right now. Also something weird has happened to SoMo’s hair since having a baby. HELP.
Don’t forget we still have some of our exciting new merch in stock! If you’ve been on the fence you should totally grab one now before they’re all gone.

Strangelove Jalapeno and Lime Soda is the booze-less, spicy margarita you’ve been looking for. Obviously feel free to add in mezcal to kick it up a notch.

Club Fontana by some of the old Don Peppino’s crowd is shaping up to be SoRo’s “Most Visited” restaurant. Book yourself in before she takes all the tables and don’t forget to order the ricotta.

Ann Friedman on What Comes After Ambition, Elle is a GREAT exploration of the general non-hustle vibe that’s in the air.

Alone, Season 1, Binge really is excellent even if you’re not super drawn to the “outdoor survivalist” shtick. Also let’s all embrace watching TV that left the zeitgeist multiple years ago!

Lalume Lovely Necklace is just a lovely, simple necklace SoMo picked up at a market stall. The little red heart pendant and gold chain are perfect for layering.
SR
Cooke and Kin Silk & Hemp Wide Leg Pants in Hazelnut were a total splurge but have been a godsend while travelling. Light, and super comfortable and the brown colour is super versatile!
The Fast Five!

Tevas Voya Infinity are the Teva’s that Mary Kate Olsen wears. They’re very 90s chic!
Regular Shellac! SoMo has overcome the nail claustrophobia and embraced the long lasting polish.
Virtue Healing Oil is lightweight, protects your hair from heat and gives it a little shine. Perfect for thinner hair.
Woman Eating by Clare Kohda is a refreshing take on the loneliness and lack of connection that comes with being a vampire with descriptions so visceral you can almost imagine what it would be like to taste human blood.
Our Highly Enthused merch! We love them!

Girl’s Guide to Hunting and Fishing, Melissa Bank is delightful, odd and slyly clever. Worth hunting down a secondhand copy.
Masala Omelettes are a meal to make for yourself on hungry work from home lunch days when there’s not much in the fridge. Meera Sodha’s recipe is great, or just riff based on what you’ve got on hand.
Stationary section at Kinokuniya is the perfect capstone to a great solo Sydney day. Head to The Galeries to browse Incu, grab some sushi at the restaurant on level 2 and then head to Kinokuniya to rummage through the Japanese stationary for washi tape and perfect grid notebooks.
The MCUSTA Zanmai Hachi 180mm Santoku from Chef’s Armoury is a perfect, entry level Japanese knife. It’ll change your life! (Just remember they can’t go in the dishwasher).
Saint Cloud, Waxahatchee is the perfect spring album - all lilacs and creek beds and folky Americana. Listen to it with the windows wound all the way down.
Thank you again to Assembly Label for supporting this episode.
